Limited Capacity seats available

The big idea of this session is strategic behavioral management with an emphasis on how to meet kids and school culture where they are. Session attendees will gain understanding and connect Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, IQ versus EQ, emotional intelligence, learning styles and counter intuitive responses to classroom needs. Teachers will need at least two devices, preferably laptop and cell phone. We’ll engage our audience using real-time input, such as polls, quizzes, word clouds, Q&As and more via Mentimeter.
We will: • Define the components of an environment for learning. • Understand steps necessary to meet standards. • Address why students are not meeting standards. • Discuss how to shift leadership vision and accountability to meet these goals.
